R’Echele’s Weight Loss Journey
R’Echele Majdwish From Lithgow she is 42 years old and has two children aged 11 and 8.
The ability to take care of others was the main motivation for R’Echele’s desire to lose weight and live her healthiest life. Back in November last year, she found herself at the heaviest weight she had ever been. As the primary caregiver and support not only for her elderly mother and sick father-in-law, but also for her husband and children, she knew she needed to make a change.

- Set achievable goals and be kind to yourself.
- Don’t change everything overnight – you haven’t gained weight in a day and it will take some time to adapt to a new lifestyle (it takes 3 months to form new habits)
- Get a good fitness tracker to help you keep track of your daily activities and help you push that a little bit more.
R’Ecele also has some great tips for moms who are starting a new healthy journey.
It starts. Just start small. You can’t change anything if you don’t start somewhere. Pick a few recipes from the app to try. Reduce your portions for meals that aren’t in the app. Try to drink a little water every day so you can drink 2 liters a day At least. Have fun and be kind to yourself.”
