Ingredients
Meat Sauce Ingredients:
- 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 Minced garlic cloves or small cubes
- 2 A pound of ground pork (or other meat)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) tomato sauce or diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) bOne broth (or other broth)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cauliflower Rice Ingredients:
- 1 Cauliflower cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Avocado oil for cooking
- ½ carrot
- Salt and pepper to taste
instructions
- To make the gravy, add all the gravy ingredients to a slow cooker and simmer for 6 hours.
- To prepare cauliflower rice, add the florets and carrots to a food processor and process the food into small rice-like pieces. Squeeze out as much of the excess liquid as possible.
- Add avocado oil to a large skillet in batches and cook cauliflower rice until softened (about 10 minutes). Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Put the meat sauce on the cauliflower rice and enjoy. Garnish with fresh herbs such as chopped basil if desired.
