If you are bothered by burning, itching or tearing eyes when chopping onions, you really need to try Onion Glasses!
Pin Goggles to remember them later!
I admit that most of my life I have been arrogant about chopping onions. My eyes didn’t seem to bother me too much when I cut onions, and I thought anyone bothered by onion fumes must be a little weak.
It wasn’t until I had eye surgery and no longer needed contact lenses that I realized that it was the contacts that kept onion fumes out of my eyes for all those years! Suddenly I couldn’t cut an onion without burning and stinging my eyes. What is a food blogger to do?
Luckily I remember hearing about him Onion glasses (Continued link) And after about my second or third attempt at chopping onions with my newly improved eyes, I ordered a pair from Amazon.com. The googles fit close to your eyes and have a foamy layer around them so onion fumes don’t get in, and it makes an incredible difference, especially if you’re chopping a few onions at once.
Now I’m wearing these cool glasses that keep onion fumes out of your eyes, and I decided I adore them so much that I should make them one of my looks. Kalyn’s Kitchen ChoicesI recommend products that I’m happy to buy again and again.
