Even if you don’t have even the tiniest bit of Irish blood, you’re probably still aware St. Patrick’s Day is coming up soon, so I’m sharing. Low-carb, Irish-inspired keto recipes for St. Patrick’s Day To inspire you to start planning now to cook something special for that day!
I don’t remember my mother cooking St. Patrick’s Day special, but for years I’ve loved making beef and cabbage Brown Irish Soda Bread For my partly Irish dad, who loved all those dishes.
However, since I’ve been a food blogger, I’ve learned that many of the foods Americans cook for this holiday aren’t Irish at all. And I certainly don’t claim to be my favorites in this post Authentic Irish recipesbut it’s still a fun way to celebrate the day.
There are also some tasty ideas here for using up leftover beef, but if you’re not lucky enough to have some of that, just buy corned beef at the deli to make some of these dishes.
My favorite way to cook beef is this delicious one Instant beef with creamy horseradish sauce. And although corned beef like this is more Irish-American than authentic Irish, I make it every year for St. Patrick’s Day!
If you’re not a fan of the Instant Pot, you can’t go wrong Corned beef slow cooker. I skipped the potatoes to make it more diet friendly, and I’d have an easier time eating carrots too if you’re watching your carbs.

It’s definitely the idea of thinking outside the box for leftover beef and maybe a stretch to call it Irish, but this one Reuben sandwich cups It’s a delicious way to use up beef!

If you don’t cook beef, you can use corned beef from the deli to make this amazing Robin’s Peak Low Carb. The Reuben Sandwich didn’t come from Ireland, but most of these ingredients are things that are used in Irish food.
