“My breakfast is a smoothie, because it’s easy to prepare and full of nutrients and I can eat it while I stop going to school,” she says.

“Most of the time I have a smooth lunch, and sometimes when I have time, I make an easy lunch out of a healthy mummy recipe like sandwich, wrap, or rice paper rolls,” she says.

“Dinner can be a little tricky. But since I followed the Healthy Mummy app, there are a lot of recipes that I can choose from the app” she says.
“It’s also easy to find the right recipe for my family using the filter button in the app. My kids and I love fried rice, because it is easy to do, low budget but very tasty. I can also offer my husband vegetarian options.”
It’s all about fulfilling snacks when it comes to snacks and ones that Lina can make in big batches.
“My go-to snacks Carrot and zucchini cake, healthy lemon cake And the Apple and zucchini pancakes,” sHe says.
“I love these snacks because they are so satisfying and taste so good, I can make them in bulk and keep in the freezer. They are also well within my calorie range.

Amazingly, Lina lost 29 kg, going from 82.8 kg to 53.6 kg – she dropped her first 20 kg in just 6 months and went from size 14 to size 6!
“For me, a healthy mummy is a lifestyle, not a diet, I live with it every day. I have maintained my weight since November of last year and now I would like to get my body more toned and maybe lose another 2 kg if I can.”
Lina keeps her active with A mix of HIIT, weight training, and a bit of cardio.
“I exercise 4 to 5 days a week about 30 minutes to 1 hour a day,” She adds. “I also do the Booty Band Workouts, Dance Cardio and Fit programs that I get from the app,” she says.
“I felt like my energy levels had increased and I had the energy to chase after my children. My general condition has improved and I feel happier in life.”
Lina’s tips for success
- Don’t give up if you had a bad day. It’s important to get back on the program as quickly as possible and not leave the snowball on bad meals.
- Have a smoothie as a snack to curb food cravings. Whenever I feel like you want to eat something naughty, I find I just try to grab my juice early or have a healthy snack because the longer I think about making a bad decision, the more likely I’ll do it.
