Kirsty Whitehead lost 18.5 kg and 72 cm on 12 week challenge!
The 39-year-old mother of a SA resident was following 28 day weight loss challenge Since 2015, he has lost 38.9 kg in total.
“Before announcing the 12 week challenge, I made the decision to focus on myself and my desires. The timing was perfect and I wanted to do my best,” Says.
“My pledge was to stick with myself. In order not to give up, I focus on myself completely, physically and emotionally as well as my inner health. To lose 10 kilos.”
This mom lost 18.5 kg in just 12 weeks!
Surprisingly, Kirsty has reached her reign! She fully committed to herself and stuck with it for 12 weeks.
“I looked at every area of life. I made healthy food choices, but I also took care of my mental health and helped myself heal physically and emotionally,” Says.
“In fact, I feel like the strongest in myself.”
To help stay on track, Kirsty created a motivation board and said she’s found it has helped her stay focused.
“I loved my stimulus board. I had never used one before, I put it on my kitchen door and it was a reminder when I walked in through the door,” Says.
“I had three months to write it off. I had some favorite quotes and a written vow. I even had a small peg counter. This was a strong incentive to actually move the pegs out of the kilogram shed.
“My kilos were shed because I never found them again. I made this painting very “Kirsty” because my challenge was a commitment to myself.”
And that’s not all! Kirsty says she feels fitter, stronger, less stressed and can walk longer distances than ever before
“I have learned to deal with stress differently. Food has become my last resort instead of my first,” Says.
“I learned the tools from healthy mummy app Which helped me even in difficult times. Oh my God, my energy has improved so much. I wake up in the morning with a spring in my step. Even just having surgery, my recovery will be faster because I am stronger and fitter.”
What Kirsty does for exercise
Incredibly, Kirsty says she works out at least 5 days a week and is a fan of Joe’s workouts that don’t work on work equipment.
“I’ve had to slow down and limit my workouts through my medical issues but I’m already okay with a light walk so I can get back to fitness more than ever before. Says.
“Loved the past 12 weeks. I’ll do it again in a flash. I loved sharing and was inspired by my healthy mummy village.
“I used the 12 Week Toolkit during the entire challenge. I printed it out and wrote down my goals, keeping myself in mind the importance of being prepared and taking advice from the Toolkit, to save time, same money, and take away the feeling in the beginning.
“I loved the app in every aspect of it.”
