It’s the ultimate comfort food, shredded pork, slow-cooked with ginger and chili, served with eggs and veggies and swimming in a flavor-packed pasta broth!
No wonder that mothers in Healthy mummy community They can’t stop posting their photos and positive expressions raving about this slow cooked pork ramen recipe from 28 day weight loss challenge.
Slow Cooked Pork Ramen – What is it all about?
The beauty of this family-friendly recipe is that it’s really easy! Pork does not take time to prepare and can be cooked on the day of meal preparation or in advance if you like. Once you’re in the oven, that’s it! The oven will do all the work for the next 4 hours so you can do other things. Or put your feet up!
When it comes to serving, it couldn’t be simpler! Tossed the shredded pork in an appropriately sized bowl (the more the better) with hearty cooking broth, low-fat ramen noodles, and vegetables along with a hard-boiled egg (cooked to your liking! If you like soft boiled eggs – go for it!)
It’s the perfect recipe for the colder months and packed with nutrients to dramatically boost immunity. On top of that, it’s satiating and relaxing but only 390 calories per serving and the best part is that kids love it too, so it’s going to be a hit with the whole family!

“Yesterday I cooked slow cooked pork ramen in the oven on low heat all day and then put it in the fridge overnight. I was having it for dinner tonight so I removed the fat, shredded the pork and filtered the broth. I reheated my portion and then collected everything in a bowl With pasta, a boiled egg, baby spinach leaves, green onions and carrots. I now have 3 large containers of pulled pork left for other meals.”
