Fiona’s advice for new moms looking to lose weight
Fiona says that when it comes to advice for new moms “Give yourself a break, it just gets easier.”
“My advice to new mothers, which I received myself, is not to worry, it just gets easier,” Says.
“Those first few weeks, it’s crazy. If you’re a mom you know what you look like. It’s overwhelming. I felt anxious for the first two weeks. But it gets easier and give yourself a break.
“In those early days, you don’t leave the house and I put a lot of pressure on myself to try and get out there, and it just didn’t work for me, I actually just need to stay put and stay in a bubble.
“Just be good to yourself. If you don’t get out of your pajamas that’s okay, your priority if it’s your child. Be kind to yourself and take your time.”
“Take it step by step”
For moms who are exhausted about getting their bodies back into shape, Fiona says, take it step by step and you’ll be less stressful.
“It can be really hard at first to find the motivation to start training or preparing meals, but once you get into it, it becomes very easy to become a part of your routine,” She adds.
“And you’ll find it gets a lot easier. Once you get moving, you start to feel better about yourself.”
“Anyone who jumps with me in flight, let’s do it!”
