Hello Hello! happy Friday! Happy weekend to you. What do you have going on? We have Christmas dinner at a friend’s house, a Christmas party, a birthday party, and two Christmas lunches. Lots of fun activities packed into the weekend! I’m hoping that between events, we can catch up on some household stuff (and that I can finally tackle the mountain of laundry that’s taken over our bed. I’ve been doing a load every night, and things got completely out of control quickly…).
Something exciting is on the way: Favorite things start on Monday! Be sure to check back here.. The prizes are so good I can’t wait to gather 10 reader friends with some of my all time favorites.
Please take a few minutes to fill out My annual blog poll. This will give you a head start on extra entry for the giant gift! Your responses to the survey are invaluable to me and help me build my entire content calendar for the new year. Please take 3 minutes here to fill out your copy.
It’s time for your weekly Friday favorite! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and across the web. I always love to hear about yours too, so please shout it out in the comments section below.

One of my big goals for 2023 is to discover TikTok. I fought that for a long time, but the truth is This is where people hang out now. And as a consumer of the platform, I love it. It took the algorithm a while to get to know *me*, but it definitely knows me now. (Bring all the amazing choreography, chefs behind the scenes, singing videos, interior decorating, fashion tips, and quick recipe videos.) I really want to start creating content on TikTok and delivering value in a new way, but I feel underwhelmed by the platform, especially with the different editing methods and features.
Thank God, my friend amber – we were in generationMastermind Together – Just Created All about TikTok course, along with a masterclass, and I’m really excited to do it. She’s been crushing it up there (274K followers!), and she’ll be sharing her tips and strategies. I know this may not apply to everyone, but I also know that a lot of my reader’s friends have online businesses and are involved in social media, so if you’d like to join me for her TikTok course, The link is here!
It’s $200 off now And the price jumps on Monday when the cycle begins.

We’ll be in Instagram Live Today we’re talking about TikTok if you’d like to join then too – I’d love to see you there!
Read, watch, listen:
this is Josh Groban Video that appeared on my YouTube playlist while I was at work. What is sausage lol. But seriously, this is one of the songs that made me fall in love with him in high school. It’s very good!
Speaking of favorites, what is your most played song on Spotify in 2022? that’s mine! I’ve listened to it many times this year:
This book started And while it took me a while to get into it, so far I’m enjoying it.
Fashion + Beauty:
This jacket has arrived It’s even better than I thought. The fabric is high quality and I chose the camel color.
Dark image but you get the idea:
I was crazy about Vuori in everyday casual attire, and I was Looking forward to this compressed half. I think I’ll go to him this weekend and put him under the tree. 😉 If you’re still shopping for gifts, I’ve got plenty of ideas here:

dessert plate. We had some friends over for dinner last weekend, and I used this Ina Garten tip and made a candy bar for dessert. He made it so easy and everyone could get what they wanted.
I made some chocolate peanut butter bars, then added various cookies and chocolate chip cookies from a Whole Foods cookie bar, along with some chocolate mousse bars from Trader Joe’s. The kids drank hot cocoa, while the adults drank tequila and sangria.
For the meal, we had appetizers (an amazing giant charcuterie board my friend brought, sun-dried tomato dip and crackers), Fave fall saladAnd the Roasted chickenPotatoes and fresh sourdough.
I am so grateful that our children have introduced us to some of our closest friends. Making friends as an adult can be challenging and awkward, and I feel so grateful that our kids have the sweetest friends with such amazing parents. 😉 We have a family dinner tonight and a Santa Claus crew exchange – it’s going to be a blast.
I hope you have a happy Friday and see you soon with my favorites!
