for me Friday favorite Choose this week, I remind you of this delicious Chili Mustard Pork Kabobs. The recipe features pork chops marinated in a spicy mixture of yellow mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, Green Tabasco sauce, and Creole seasoning from Tony Chachere. It might sound like an unusual combination, but it really works on pork. I know summer is coming to an end, but I think most people have at least six weeks of barbecue weather, so you still have plenty of time to try this recipe. And I promise, you’ll be glad you did!

You might be wondering if this would be too hot for the kids? My niece Kara fed her kids leftovers when we originally shot the recipe and they liked it. You can use a few hotter ingredients if you’re not sure how much spice your kids will like, but I bet most kids will! or check out 20 Low Carb Kabobs or BBQ Skewers If you want to see some other options.

What if you don’t have an outdoor grill?

If you don’t have an outdoor grill (or the weather isn’t grilling) grilled pork kebabs can be cooked on Grill pan on stove with spurs or George Foreman Grill Moreover. (affiliate links) Remember that George Foreman Grill cooks both sides at once, so adjust the grill time.
