Everyone loses pregnancy weight In a different way, we all have different bodies and a different metabolism.

Although Ebannie lost a huge business 50 kg * She prefers not to pay much attention to the scales anymore. The clothes speak for themselves. It has been downsized from a size 24 to a size 8.
Although we all have different bodies and metabolisms – that doesn’t stop us from feeling frustrated if we have Weight loss slower than the next person or if we go through a period when we don’t feel like we’re losing weight at all.
So if you are currently feeling frustrated with a file Weight loss Here are some common reasons why the metrics aren’t moving and some points for positive action to take as well (plus check out the mummy health plans also can help).
10 reasons not to lose weight
1. Metrics don’t always tell the truth
When you start doing aerobics and light weight-bearing exercises, you will gain lean muscle tissue, which is a denser substance than fat. So you may actually see the number increase on the scale. Even though the scale may not move, that doesn’t mean you won’t get smaller. Muscle is denser than fat, so it takes up less space.
You can be a size smaller and not be lighter on the scale – which is why we recommend taking measurements every week in addition to your weight. Above is a picture of what 500g of fat actually looks like – so the next time you think “I only lost 500g” remember it’s a lot!
It’s also a good point to note that this extra lean muscle tissue has added benefits too – not only will you look leaner, but the muscle will also help boost your metabolism helping you burn more fat – win!
2. Do you eat a lot of calories?
Successful weight loss depends on calories in versus calories out. There is no miracle weight loss secret, and long-term, healthy and sustainable weight loss depends on it.
However, there is no one size fits all for how many calories you should be consuming – and of course if you eat a lot, losing weight will be difficult. The number of calories your body needs depends on your age, height and weight – plus other factors like how much exercise you do and whether you’re breastfeeding has a big impact on how much you should eat and drink.
If you are struggling with weight loss – one of the first things you should do is calculate your basal metabolic rate which will give you your own calorie needs to meet your individual needs. Could you Use our BMR calculator here. Then if you find that you are consuming too much, you can then consider cutting back on the size or type of food you eat. When you start making small changes to the foods you eat, you’ll start to notice a big difference in the amount of calories you consume.

3. Is your metabolism working enough?
Everyone’s metabolism is different, and there is a lot of research suggesting that there are many things that can be done to speed up the metabolism and burn calories more quickly. One such way is to eat certain foods that are believed to boost metabolism. You can see our selection of 10 foods that boost metabolism here.
4. Are you eating enough snack?
Snacks are essential to keep you feeling energized, and take vitamins and minerals during the day, which helps boost your metabolism and helps you lose weight. But there is a big difference between healthy snacks and unhealthy snacks.
If you eat processed or junk foods as snacks, it will not help your health, energy or weight loss, but if you choose healthy snacks – it will give your health and weight loss a boost and you will not feel hungry
Some of our favorite snacks are things like raw vegetables dipped in hummus, fruit with Greek yogurt, sardines on whole-grain toast, and cottage cheese on a rivetta topped with sliced peppers – all delicious, healthy, and easy to prepare. Plus click here to see tons of snack ideas.
5. Are you eating enough protein?
Protein is essential to your health and weight loss. It helps build lean muscle, helps increase metabolism and helps you stay fuller for longer. It’s also key to recovery and your body needs protein to function properly and stay healthy. Make sure you eat protein at every meal and when you snack – aim for high-quality, lean protein.
6. Is it your time of the month?
Bloating, cramps, swelling, mood swings, cravings, binge eating and weight gain are all side effects of the hormones present in a woman’s body at that time of the month. Plus there is a very common side effect of Water retention that can send your weight and measurements. During the month period, our bodies hold on to fluids like dehydration coming on and the best advice is not to weigh yourself at this time.
7. Do you suffer from PCOS?
PCOS causes weight gain because the body has more difficulty using insulin. Difficulty using insulin causes insulin resistance, which means glucose and sugar can build up in the bloodstream.
The buildup of insulin in the blood causes the body to produce more of a certain hormone called androgen. A high level of androgen within the body leads to hair growth, acne and weight gain – and because the hormone is a male hormone, it tends to gain weight around the stomach more than anywhere else. The abundance of this hormone makes it very difficult for women with PCOS to change excess weight.
Since PCOS affects your blood sugar levels, you need to take this into consideration rather than just embarking on a low-calorie, low-fat diet. You need to include fruits, vegetables and plenty of fiber in your diet, and where possible, stay away from sugary foods and things like white bread and white pasta, as they contain a lot more sugar than you might realize. Instead, eat plenty of whole grains and lean proteins like chicken or tofu.
It is also better to eat four to six small meals throughout the day rather than three larger ones. This will keep your blood sugar stable throughout the day which will also reduce PCOS symptoms. It’s also important to get at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise five times a week, or more if you can manage it, as this will kick-start your metabolism and help you burn more calories.
If a high-fiber, high-protein, low-sugar diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables and an exercise plan isn’t helping increase weight loss, you should talk to your doctor, as there are medications you can take to reduce certain levels. hormones inside your body.
